It is a celadon stoneware shape and transfuse jump. It was created in Korea during the Goryeo Dynasty. [twelfth century 918-1392] [pic] The cup and cup affirm together reach about 8 inches in height. The plate balk is approximately 8 inches in diameter. The cup is about 2 ½ inches in diameter. A smooth and shiny, celadon blue-green glass overd was enforce everywhere a technique of inscribing or mishima on this piece, with forgetful to no crackles in the glaze. It is a half-spherical cup and a protrude with a circulate plate and dome-like- base of operations center. Simliar pieces to this were do in song China [960-1279]; found in Goryeo metallic element prototypes. The potter who created this piece, was thitherfore replicating preceding pieces like this that had been done b efore. However, since there is a diversity of medium between the Chinese celadon and Goryeo piece, it becomes a new lay down upon its own, standing different from the previous pieces. The best-known example of refined, un ornament celadon produced during the first half of the 12th century is a congregation of objects unearthed from the tomb of King Injong (r. 112246).

The Fitzwilliam cup-and-stand unsex has a stronger blue quality in its glaze color and is not as unflawed as the Injong tomb pieces, merely it clearly demonstrates a parallel dedication to craftsmanship.
